Change is Necessary!

Change is necessary; necessary for what you may be wondering, change is necessary in order for you to grow. Growth does not take place overnight neither does change, one is needed for the other to take place. Changes can be hard and scary because you are moving out of your comfort zone to a place of unfamiliarity better referred to as the unknown. The first step is always the hardest because you fear that it won't be enough to take you where you need to be, but look at it this way today's first step is tomorrow's walk and the next day's run and the other day's leap but eventually you will get there over time. A baby isn't born one minute then becomes an adult within an adult- no! A baby has to grow and in order for a baby to grow it has to go through a series of changes in life such as crawling to holding on and wobbling, then it begins to take its first steps and eventually he or she is able to run.

When we recognize that we are stagnant in any area of our lives and growth is longed for then we must first consciously make the decision to change some aspects of our lives such as our attitude, eating habits, and the amount of times we pray or read our Bibles etc. Change can be difficult but it is possible and some of us may need help along the way which is totally normal; some things we cannot do on our own and that's why we have friends, family or even colleagues to hold us accountable and to encourage us along our journey.

If you feel afraid of taking that first step to change remind yourself that stagnant is not the place to be and for growth to take place, change is necessary.
