Our identity is in the one who made us and when I say identity I don't mean what mommy or daddy calls us, I don't mean what our friends refer to us as and I certainly don't mean your physical features or what you are best known for. Your identity- who you are and what you possess on the inside is found in Christ alone- our saviour. Often times it is not easy to pin point who we are or what we were called to do, many times we get lost and feel rather confused about who we are and other times we don't even recognize the person in the mirror. In order to know who you are you have to first know whose you are and when I say whose I don't mean your parents I am talking about the one who created us, the one who first and always loves us despite our mess, despite our sins, the one who knows our inner most being, the one who knows our heart and that is GOD! We cannot deny our calling, once we are chosen we have been sealed and marked with the blood of redemption.

So the next time someone asks you who you are, you can boldly tell them exactly who you are without a show of a doubt because your identity is found in the one who made you!
